Meet Piper

Lead Teacher 

Hi! I’m Piper Gunnelson, Lead Teacher at Hygge Academy. I recently completed my sophomore year at UW–Madison, where I’m majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. My passion for working with children began in my teenage years through babysitting, and has continued to grow as I’ve nannied throughout college. These experiences have inspired me to pursue a career focusing on fostering healthy development in children.

At Hygge Academy, I’m excited to blend my academic background with hands-on experience to create a safe and engaging environment for every child. One of my favorite parts of working in early childhood education is watching each child’s curiosity and individuality bloom!
